The creation of the Sun Valley Nordic Festival was a collaborative effort from a wide variety of groups, individuals, and businesses, now known as the Sun Valley Nordic Ski Alliance, who are all interested in further promoting Sun Valley as a major Nordic ski destination.
The idea to create a week-long event that capitalized on the renowned Boulder Mountain Tour ski race and built in new activities that might encourage racers to come a few days earlier, but also to have activities that non-race skiers and families could enjoy. This week-long event will bring thousands of visitors to the Wood River Valley.
By submitting your event or placing an ad on SVNordicFestival.com, you will expose your business to the vast number of subscribers to the best national cross country ski publications, as well as attendees to some of the premier cross-country ski trade shows and conferences in the country, who will be coming to the Wood River Valley for the Sun Valley Nordic Festival and the Boulder Mountain Tour.
Additionally, the SVKCVB wil be sending out a 10,000 plus emailings to previous visitors that have expressed an interest in visiting the valley for this type of event. This event is also being marketed on Facebook and Twitter.
