LOCATION: Stanley Ice Rink The Boise Curling Club will host its inaugural bonspiel on Stanley’s outdoor ice rink. The SOB will be a 12-team, three-day bonspiel with a three game guarantee. To find out more about the bonspiel and register to play in the bonspiel, please go to www.sobidaho.com
Spectators are welcome to come and watch the bonspiel for free. Curling games will take place Friday evening starting at 5:00pm, Saturday morning, late Saturday afternoon, and Sunday morning.
There will also be a free “Learn to Curl” session at noon on Saturday, January 26, on the outdoor ice rink in Stanley. Participants will learn about curling and have the chance to throw some curling stones and participate in a short game. Skin It 2 Win It is a ski & snowboard race on Dollar Mountain where participants skin 563 feet up Forbidden Fruit ski run and then ski or snowboard down Otto's Run trying to complete as many laps as possible in 3 hours. Categories include men, women and coed teams of one, two and four person teams. Each lap takes approximately 15 minutes. Coffee, energy drinks, food and music are provided for racers to enjoy in between laps. This fundraiser benefits the Sawtooth Nationals forest Avalanche Center. A donation of $25 per person requested.
Come ski one of the gems of Central Idaho. The Alturas Lake Nordic Ski Trail rolls through trees, glades and meadows with fantastic views in all directions. Great skating on the main trail with many nice side loops on softer tracks. Apres ski buffet at Smiley Creek Lodge with hearty mountain style food $19.00 per person. Get ready, get set for this year's amazing event. Join us for the NordicTownUSA Sprints celebrating some of the elite athletes in the sport in a downtown circular course. Kids races, music provided by Mobile Fidelity, and refreshments from Galena Lodge all round out this amazing night.
Top men and women will compete in a coed skate sprint relay held in downtown Ketchum next to the Post Office. This year, the event will be expanded to include a mountain bike race held in the same format as the ski race.
Format for the Main Event: 2 person, one woman, one man teams. 1 leg equals two laps of the course. Each skier will ski 2 legs, alternating between woman and man.

The Half Boulder is an untimed participation event and no age class awards will be given. Each participant will receive the BMT souvenirs and clothing bag and will be eligible for raffle prize drawings at the awards ceremony.

The awards for the AXCS National Masters Championships as well as the Swix Boulder Mountain Tour will take place at the Limelight Room in the Sun Valley beginning promptly at 5:30 pm.
